GRred Nucleic Acid Dye


GRred is the third generation non-mutagenic safe nucleic acid dye that can replace Ethidium Bromide (EtBr), with its electrophoretic performance surpassing the original generation non-t꧟oxic nucleic acid dye GelRed. Under the ultraviolet light, DNA exhibits red fluorescence. Ultra GelRed is applicable for dsDNA, ssDNA and RNA staining in agarose gels and polyacrylamide gels electrophoresis.

Strictly tested by third-party organi🍎zation, it has been proven to be safe and non-toxic —— no mutagenicity (molecular weight>1000), clear and neat band shape, good migratio💞n rate, accurate quantification, uniform staining, high sensitivity, and high stability.

 

Product characteristics:

●  Clear and tidy band shape: The third generation nucleic acid dye GRred completely overcoming the di🌼sadvantage of original similar products in dispersing large DNA bands, the electrophoresis bands are clear, neat, and sharp.

●  Safe and non-toxic: The unique oily macromolecules prevent them from penetrating the cell membrane and entering the cell. Ames-test experiments have shown that this dye does not have the carcinogenic mu🍬tagenicity of EtBr.

●  Good migration rate: Sm൩all molecules such as EtBr quickly escape from the gel, so EtBr can easily cause small DNA fragment bands to be unclear. Our macromolecular GRred completely avoids this drawback.

●  Quantitative accuracy: Suitable for determining 🦋and quantifying the si♐ze of nucleic acid molecules. EtBr is not accurate in quantifying small DNA fragments.

●  Uniform dyeing effect: Uniform dyeing during electrophoresis, the brightness near the negative gel is the same as that near the positive extreme. EtBr may cause slightly higher overall glue background, often with phenomenon that some of the glue background i🔯s bright and some is dark. Long term and long distance electrophoresis of EtBr results in a corresponding decrease in EtBr signal intensity. Our macromolecular GRred completely avoids this drawback.

●  High sensitivity: Suitꦗable for electrophoretic staining of various sizes of fragments, with the same nucleic acid mobility as EtBr, but less than ꧙SYBR Green I. DNA bands with 1ng content can be easily detected.

●  Good thermal stability: It is heat resistant, and can be directly added to the buffer solution and dissolved in gel at 100℃ to prevent the dye from not being fully mixed. It is su✱itable for preparing a🐲garose gel by microwave or other heating methods. This product is extremely stable in acid or alkali buffer at room temperature.

●  Good light stab🐷ility: Under daily laboratory light, it can be stored at room temperature for 24 months in a brown tube.

●  Good signal-to-noise ratio: After the product is combined with DNA, the fluorescence signal is strong, the background s🐈ignal is low, and the fluorescence brightness is about ten times that of EtBr. It can be observed that the brightness is significantly stronger than EtBr, and the background is much cleaner than EtBr.

●  Easy to operate: The usage of this product is exactly the same as EtBr. It does not degrade🌸 during the process of gel making and electrophoresis. The dyeing process after electrophoresis also takes only 30 minutes without decolorization or washing, and can be directly observed with the ultraviolet gel transmission instrument.

●  Wide application range: You can choose pre-electrophoresis staining (Gel-staining method) or postelectrophoresis staining (Soaking-staining method). It is suitable for agarose gel or polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, and can be used for dsDNA, s𒅌sDNA, or RNA staining.

●  Perfect compatibility: With the same spectral characteristics as EtBr, thܫere is no need to change the filter and observation device. Standard EtBr filters or SYBR filters are applicable. Use the same ordinary ultraviolet gel transmission instrument to observe EB, and get the best excitation near 300nm ultraviolet light.
