GRred-Plus Nucleic Acid Dye
GRred 😼plus is a sensitive, stable, and environmentally friendly fluorescent nucleic acid dye, used to replace toxic ethidium bromide (EtBr), which can be used in agarose gel or polypropylene gels. It can achieve good observation results both by the 302nm ultraviolet system and the 470nm blue light system. Both the ultraviolet gel imaging system for EB observa꧙tion and the blue light observation equipment can be used.
GRred p𓆉lus can be used to stain dsDNA, ssDNA,🀅 or RNA, but its sensitivity to dsDNA is twice that of ssDNA or RNA.
GRred plus can be effectively removed from DNA through phenol/chloroform extraction or ethanol precipitation and gel r꧅ecovery, so GRred plus dye is compatible with downstream applications such as sequencing and cloning.
Product characteristics
